He spoke to Billboard magazine and had a lot to say about music ownership and how he blames Madonna for how things went bad with Warner Brothers Records.
He says, “It was always about Madonna. She was getting paid, but at the same time we were selling more records and selling out concerts on multiple nights.”
During the interview he also went in on Maroon 5, who covered “Kiss” on the 2012 album Overexposed.
He said, “Why do we need to hear another cover of a song someone else did?
He adds, “Art is about building a new foundation, not just laying something on top of what’s already there.” Source
At this years Billboard Music Awards, Prince will be recognized with the Billboard Icon Award. He’s also expected to perform at the award show which will air on ABC on May 19th.

Elton John decided to bitch out Madonna again. During an interview he said, “She is such a nightmare. I’m sorry. Her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger cunt.
“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to go and prove… she looks like a fucking fairground stripper.”
Gaga and Madonna are feuding because Madonna basically called Gaga a thief for being ‘inspired by her ‘Express Yourself’ song for Gaga’s ‘Born This Way.’
Well during a recent concert Gaga didn’t name Madonna but she did say:
“That doesn’t make me feel good at all.That just makes me feel like I’m not a good human being … I don’t even want to fight back because it’s more important to me to keep writing music.

Word is that Madonna’s boyfriend Brahim Zaibat has proposed to her. The 53-year-old singer hasn’t given her boyfriend, almost 20 years her junior, an answer yet.
A source said, “Brahim asked Madonna to marry him at a Kabbalah Center a few weeks ago, but Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet.
”She doesn’t want to rush into anything. She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends are not sure she is ready for marriage again. That said, Madonna has a real fear of being on her own. It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.” Source

Madge has moved on from Jesus Luz to another young dude. She’s dating a 24-year-old dancer named Brahim and his 44-year-old mom, who’s 8 years younger than Madge, isn’t too happy about it.
Brahim’s mom, Patricia Vidal said, “My mouth fell open when I realized that my son was Madonna’s new boyfriend. I’m still trying to come to terms with it.”
The two met when Brahim danced at the launch of Madonna’s daughter’s clothing line. He told his mother about her over the phone. She thought that the new woman was 8 years older than him but he corrected her.
He said, “No, she’s eight years older than you – and her name is Madonna.”
Patricia says: “Madonna was already a big star when I was a schoolgirl, let alone when Brahim was growing up. The whole situation is very strange.”
Brahim is a devout Muslim who doesn’t smoke or drink and his mother is scared Madonna is going to introduce him to a lifestyle that contradicts his religious beliefs.
“I certainly wouldn’t say we’re overjoyed by his relationship with a non-Muslim,” she said. “The fact that she’s Madonna doesn’t make things easier.”
Aye, aye, aye, Madge better watch it. One thing I know is you NEVER get between a woman and her son. If she effs up, hell even if she doesn’t, that woman will find her, scratch her eyes out, beat her to a pulp with a pipe, chop her up and make her swim with the fishes.
Madonna’s boy toy, Jesus Luz says that he considers himself a “married man.”
The two have been dating off and on for over a year and recently Jesus opened up to RG Vogue magazine.
He said, “I consider myself a married man. I have a family. At my age, my father was married, my mother gave birth to me when she was 15.” Source

Madge is looking to change up her sound and do a rap/rock album next. Hip-Hip producer, A-Trak said: “It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.”
Word is that Madge has bought her boy toy, model Jesus Luz, a luxury NYC apartment for a boat load of money.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Madonna is buying Jesus an apartment in New York. She has her real estate agent searching for the perfect pad for him in the new neighborhood where she has just moved.
“She’s told them to spend no more than £1.7 million and the property has to be within walking distance of her townhouse. She is financing everything but Jesus will own it once it’s found and bought. “She really wasn’t kidding when she told him he’ll never have to worry about money from now on.”
She’s also bought him DJ equipment costing tens of thousands of dollars and has helped him get his visa renewed.
A source said: “She is devoted to Jesus and has already started drawing up a guest list. The blessing will be at the Kabbalah centre followed by a reception at her New York house.

MTV head Van Toffler wasn’t sure about Madonna’s tribute to Michael Jackson at the VMAs becaues he thought it would be to serious for the event.
But Madge was able to convince him to do the tribute. She says, “It was my tribute to Michael Jackson… I was very clear about what I had to say and I was anxious for an opportunity to say it, even though Van Toffler wasn’t keen on me doing it.
“I think he was nervous about the seriousness of my speech and whether I was gonna be able to hold people’s attention.” Source

Madge is looking to revamp her film career. She’s writing a script and looking to direct a movie next year.
She tells PopEater.com, “I have several projects going. I have another script that I’ve written, and I want to direct another film. Hopefully, I’ll be doing that next year.” Source

Madonna dissed Lindsay Lohan at a party last week. Madge reportedly told her security to keep Lindz out of the VIP booth at an opening party for the Boom Boom Room club at The Standard Hotel in NYC.
Supposedly Madonna is jealous that Lindsay was named as ‘artistic adviser’ to fashion house Emanuel Ungary instead of her.
Mounir Moufarrige, president of the fashion house said of Lindsay: “She knows clothes. She will be a travelling advertisement, and will bring something younger, more cool, with a different attitude to the brand.”
Madonna says that she used to be obsessed with sweets.
She said: “My dream was always to work in a candy store. It was because of my obsession with candy. I’m not obsessed anymore, now that my teeth are all rotten!”
She added: “When I moved to the Big Apple, that was when I knew that that’s what I was going to do – be a singer and a songwriter and an entertainer.
“I didn’t care if I had to starve, and live in a room with five guys, and wash in a sink; that was what I’m going to do. And because I lived a pretty dismal life and I didn’t care.”

Sean Penn and his wife Robin Wright-Penn are dunzo. Now that it’s over his ex-wife Madonna is edging her way in. The two have been in touch since November and have helped each other with their perspective splits.
