Kid Cudi is finally talking about his arrest in June where he took a woman’s apartment door off the hinges and was found in possession of liquid cocaine.
He said during a recent performance, “I know you guys were hearing some sh** about me in the news. I was wilding out and sh**, but I’m good now. I just smoke weed. I know n****s die when they 27. I’m 26 now, but I promise I’ll live til I’m old as sh**.” Source
Soooo, is he saying that he used to do crank and stopped or is he denying ever used it? I’m a little confused.

TMZ says that Kid Cudi was picked up this morning for “criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance”:
A young woman called the cops after Cudi allegedly took her celly and smashed it to pieces. Then he ripped her apartment door off the hinges. When comes got there they found a glass bottle or vial with a controlled substance in it. Source
Rapper Kid Cudi may be hanging up his mic in favor of acting. He’ll be debuting on a new HBO series, “How to Make it in America.
Cudi sat down with New York Magazine, and had this to say:
“I’m trying to evenly balance them out right now, but eventually I want to leave behind music and just do acting. Adding, “I only got into the music business to tell my story and inspire some people. I think four albums will do it, and when I’m done with my four, five albums, I’ll switch it up. Once the story is told [musically], there’s nothing else to say.” Source

Rapper Kid Cudi had a recent run in with police, and it was apparently a case of mistaken identity. He was doing a photo shoot for Brit mag, NME. When leaving the shoot in black SUVs he was stopped because his vehicle matched the description of vehicle’s used in an armed robbery.
Squad cars surrounded them and one of his entourage was thrown into the back of a op car.
NME Emily Mackay was on the scene, and blogged about the incident, saying she, Cudi and others were handcuffed, as “10 or so armed police officers with an alarming amount of weaponry pointed in our direction as a helicopter circles overhead.”
“Who knows, really, the story changed a bunch,” Cudi later told NME.com. “I’m just happy to be back. I’m a free man! For that moment I was not free. I was in handcuffs. It did not feel very comfortable.” Source

Rapper Kid Cudi has given up that narcotic. And by narcotic I mean cigarettes. He wants you to do the same. He says, “I stopped smoking cigarettes. It’s been about 10 months. I quit cold turkey. I got bronchitis and it was a really bad situation. My temperature went to 105 (degrees Fahrenheit). I was literally on my death bed. I was like, ‘Hey, I’m gonna stop smoking Newports (cigarettes) right now.’ It was a wake up call, I’d been smoking cigarettes for seven years. It was like, man, do I wanna be smoking cigarettes for 10 years? 10 more years on top of that? I’m young, I’m 24, I don’t even wanna keep this up, I wanna cut this out. I think it’s important for people to value their health, young or old. Your system is gonna become weaker, weaker, weaker. You could probably stop smoking for 20 years, however long, and then when you’re 60, that s**t could still catch up and do some damage so I’m definitely aware of that, that’s why I cut the cigarettes out.” Source
Well good for him. I just hope he doesn’t take the route of truth.org. Watching those commercials makes me want to light up in defiance. I see the dude missing his throat and think…that’s no way to scare people away from smoking. You’re just annoying them.

Actress Amanda Bynes says that there’s nothing to the rumors that she’s dating Kid Cudi. She insists they’re “just friends”.
The two have been seen getting cozy lately and sources say that although he’s been telling pals that she’s dating her, she’s not ready to go public with the relationship. Source
