Jamie Foxx was recently photographed with his entire head covered in tattoos. We don’t know why he did it but we’re hoping that it’s not permanent and just for a role. Source

But since he’s such a wild card, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were permanent.

JT Lends Jamie a Hand

Justin Timberlake has signed on to help out with Jamie Foxx’s new album. Label bosses were unhappy with Jamie’s original songs so they brought in JT to ensure hits.

A source said: “There were some issues with Jamie’s album. Bosses at the label were not happy with the initial tracks, so Justin was asked to help co-write and perform on more songs.

“Timberlake has collaborated on at least three tracks – including the first release, titled ‘Winner’, which is now getting a good reaction on radio play.”

The source added: “There was some worry that upping Justin’s input would upset Jamie’s famous ego, but so far it has gone well. But he was a little upset the label chiefs were insisting on changing his material to ensure there were more hits.

“The album has been delayed twice. It was due for release in April, then pushed back to June and then delayed again.”

A J Records said: “Jamie started working on this album last November, and Justin was involved from the start. Jamie and Justin have completed three tracks. The album has been delayed to July 20, but everyone is happy with the material.”

Even though Jamie can definitely sing, I’ve never taken him seriously as a music artist. He opens his mouth and all I can see is Wanda. In any event, good luck pal.

Jamie Working on Animated Project

Jamie Foxx has been landing some pretty big projects. He recently got the green light to produce a sketch comedy show. Now he is readying for his first role in an animated movie. He’s also going to be involved in writing the score for the cartoon flick, ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’

Malcolm Spellman, who is writing the script, said, “I’m psyched about Welcome to the Jungle because it’s specifically built to utilize Jamie’s talent with voices and as a musician.” Source

Hmm, well this could be awesome. It could also turn him into Eddie Murphy. Not ‘Delirious’ Eddie Murphy…’Ghost House’ Eddie Murphy. Be afraid Jamie…be very afraid.

Jamie Foxx is defending his sexuality after it was called into question by Howard Stern during their recent feud.

Stern said, “My guess is we’re probably not on the same team. I think he’s playing for a way different team. I don’t know what team he’s on but it ain’t my team.”
Jamie responded with, “I’m not gay. A lot of people say that I’m gay and that doesn’t bother me, because I could eat a pizza in a male shower and not feel anything because I’m secure with myself. And I’m not gonna take that, Coward Stern. I’m not gonna take that from a person who has chronic gonorrhea.” Source

Jamie Foxx to Produce Sketch Comedy Show

Jamie Foxx is going back to his roots.  Fox, the network where he got his start on “In Living Color,” has green lit a a new sketch comedy show Jamie will be producing.

He’ll be working Fax Bahr and Adam Small who wrote for “In Living Color” and created sketch show, “MadTV.” Source

Jamie Foxx Revamping ‘Laverne and Shirley’ for the Big Screen

Jamie Foxx is working on a film adaptation of “Laverne and Shirley” which will star Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner.

Garry Marshall, who directed the sit come will be working with Jamie on the project. He said, “Jamie and I are trying to do it. He’s writing it. It’s a whole different modern take on how they came up on the streets during difficult times.

“Laverne would be this very tough girl with a big ‘L’ tattooed on her arm. Jennifer Garner would play Laverne and Jessica Biel would play Shirley.” Source

I’m not a big fan of adapting TV for the big screen to begin with. But after ‘Powder Blue’ I’m convinced Jessica Biel shouldn’t be acting AT ALL. Sighs…

Gabby’s Being Courted by Diet Pill Companies

Gabby Sidibe has been catching a lot of flack for her weight lately.  TMZ is saying that a diet pill company called AcaiSupply.com is reaching out to her to help her fight what they call “this terrible affliction.”

They’ll give her a one year supply if she gives them an endorsement.  She has to lose weight of course.

The CEO wrote a letter to her saying, “The only way you can reach your goal of someday winning that Oscar is by being active, fit, and most of all, healthy!” Source

Comedian/actor/singer Jamie Foxx, also recently talked about Gabby on his Foxxhole radio show calling her “Notorious Precious.”

Jamie and Stacey Dash are Doin’ It?

Jamie Foxx and Stacey Dash were recently spotted out together at the Vanity Fair Oscar after party, leading a lot of people to believe they’re an item. But some folks feel like its all a publicity stunt. Stacy split from her third husband recently and talked about it on Jamie’s radio show. She’s apparently trying to revive her career and Jamie is looking t oget in good with her cousin Dame Dash, co-founder of Roc-a-Fella.

“People are saying Jamie and Stacey hooking up is a win-win situation…It’s good for Jamie’s music career to be on good terms with Damon, and Stacey wouldn’t have snagged an invite to the Oscars without Jamie.” Source

Jamie Say No to Idol

Jamie Foxx is refuting rumors that he’ll be taking Simon Cowell’s place on American Idol when he leaves.

He tells E! News, “I would love to do it but I don’t think I would be able to do it. I don’t think I could fill Simon’s shoes, but I would give it another perspective…what I want is for the kids to go from being contest participants to artists and that’s where I would come in.” Source

‘Skank Robbers’ is a Go

Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence did a skit for the BET Awards earlier this year that featured their female characters Wanda and Sheneneh. The skit was a trailer for a fake movie called ‘Skank Robbers.’ Well it looks like the movie isn’t so fake afteral. Screen Gems has acquired rights to the film which is currently in the works. Jamie will write the script and the two will produce the film with their respective companies, Foxxhole and Runteldat.

Jamie really has love for the big girls.  He said that on his concert tour, “We give away a couple of grand to the ladies that can dance the best to the song I have on my album, called Slow. I have ladies coming onstage, and most of the time the women that win are my thick women. For some reason the real skinny girls that are eating lettuce and drinking air don’t dance well.” Source

Jamie Cops to Nudies

Jamie Foxx admitted on Conan that those nude pics we saw a while back actually were him. He explained that he took the pics of himself while shooting Miami Vice to show his make up artist a before and after comparison of his physical training for a nude scene. Hackers got their hands on the pics however.

“In transferring that material, I guess these people hang out on the internet and grabbed the picture and put it out on the internet,” he said. Source

Jamie Wants to Portray Iron Mike the REAL Way

Jamie Foxx says that he wants his portrayal of Mike Tyson to go above and beyond what the headlines have told us about his life.

“Mike Tyson, heavyweight boxing champion of the world. Taylor Hackford, who also directed [the] Ray Charles [biopic], I think is my man. We have a certain kinship, and we’ve talked about when we do get back together what it would be like. I think, for something like this, it would be great because everybody remembers that era. And it’s been a long enough time that people need a refreshening.”

After Mike revealed to MTV that he wants Jamie to portray him on film, Jamie said he’s totally in. “I’ve reached out to Mike, and I’ve been open about it.  I think that, of all the biopics that are out there, he has the most interesting story that no one has ever heard.”  Source

Jamie was Motivated to Learn the Cello to Get Chicks

Jamie Foxx learned how to play the cello for his movie The Soloist’ and he found it to be a real struggle.  However, when he realized he could pull in the chicks with this new talent he was all over it.

Director Joe Wright says, “He learnt how to play the cello and he practiced for six months. He was not fully committed for the first few weeks and then he discovered that girls quite like it when fellas play classical musical instruments and that upped his game.” Source

Jamie Foxx’s Sis Denied Entry to ATL Club

Recently Jamie Foxx’s sister, Diondra Dixon, along with several other family members were denied entry to a club because she has down syndrome. Word is it was because she has down syndrome.

Here’s one of the reports:

Jamie Foxx was supposed to host the Velvet Room nightclub owned by Alex Gidewon AG Entertainment last night for his after party concert in Atlanta, GA. When Jamie arrived at the club with his guests which included his mother, sister, band members, and management. The owner Alex let Jamie and the first half of his guest inside which included his mother while his sister, security and others waited to gain entry . Jamie was escorted to his section but had to wait until it was cleaned and cleared out before he could get settled. After a few minutes of waiting, someone told Jamie that his sister which has down’s syndrome and was celebrating her birthday with her brother and other family members were not allowed in the club. Jamie immediately went to the door to get the rest of his guests and the club owner was just going ballistic on the crowd and Mr. Foxx’s guests. He was humiliated at the treatment that his sister and his guest received by not an employee but by the club owner himself. He sent his security to get his mother and promptly left the club disgusted at the treatment he and his guests received.

The club owner, naturally, has a different story.  He says:

I did not yell at his sister at all. Jaime Foxx and his family and friends arrived at the club about 2:00AM. At this point, Jamie had about 50 people with him, which his sister Diondra Dixon, his mother and others arrived at the same time and they all walked in together. Then there was an additional 50 people that were apart of his group that I also gave free entry into the club. About 45 minutes past and Jamie’s other sister, Deidra Dixon arrived with 40 more people and kept saying that she was Jamie’s sister. She started yelling and cussing so, Dekalb County Police said that she could not come inside and that she had to leave because of the way she was acting. Once Jamie Foxx found out what happen he came outside to see what was going on and since the police told Diedra to leave the property, that’s when Jamie and the rest of his family decided to leave also. I think that I was more than fair because I kept up my end of the contract which stated he was only to receive entry for 50 people and I let that slide and allowed an extra 70 people in which is a total of 120 people and on top of all that he still received his entire fee of $40,0000 but I didn’t not yell at his sister Diondra nor did I not allow her in the club. Source

So who’s telling the truth.  Did Alex disrespect a poor mentally challenged woman as well as the rest of Jamie’s entourage OR was Diondra getting out of pocket so he shut her down?
