Updates 6 & 7: Brittany Murphy, Dead at 32

Update 6:

A DVD rental company named RedBox, is pulling their outdoor promo poster for the movie “Deadline.” The poster features Brittany Murphy dead in a bathtub. Since she was recently found unconscious in the shower and later pronounced dead, the posters are in bad taste.

It should take a little over a week to get the posters down from over 19,000 kiosks around the country. The distribution company will also be changing the cover of the DVD. Source

Update 7:

Brittany’s was laid to rest on Christmas Eve at twilight in a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The funeral was attended by 25 close family and friends.

At the ceremony, her husband thanked everyone for coming and said, “She was always grateful for everything. She’d always want you to celebrate her life.” Source

And yet another Hollywood star has burned out too soon. May she rest in peace.
