Music Review: Bell Biv Devoe-Three Stripes

I thought I would want to hear Bell Biv Devoe sounding like their old selves. That’s exactly what they gave me.  But I was wrong.  There was no ingenuity, no evolution, no nothing except for them rapping in the same way they did in 89. They even relied on the same producers they used over 20 years ago.

Somewhat helpful are the tracks featuring other big groups from yesteryear, SWV and Boyz II Men.  But overall the entire album is unmemorable and boring AF.

Score: 2.8 out of 5
