Shawty Lo, Dead at 40

Rapper Shawty Lo was killed in a car accident early this morning. The Atlanta rapper was reportedly behind the wheel of his Audi when he lost control, veered off the road and hit a tree.  He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

For those of you who don’t know him for his music career, you may remember the ill-fated reality show that focused on his family life called All My Babies. The show, which never aired, featured his life with his 11 children and 10 baby mamas. Source and Image

Condolences to his family, friends and fans.

She started her career in ad sales and corporate training and worked in media for over a decade at Viacom and Fox Networks. Lo is a Jersey Girl (in a Cali world), a self-professed pop culture idiot savant, a homebody, a hardcore crafter, a lover of all things retro & vintage, a thrift shopoholic, and an all-around silly MF. In addition to being a celebriologist and DIY demon, she is also a novelist. Her first, The Semester, was published in 2013. She hopes to publish her second book, The Apartment, in the upcoming year.
