Nicki Under Fire for Performing for a Dictator

Nicki Minaj was recently paid two million dollars to perform for President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, the leader of Angola.  He’s been accused of a reign of terror over the Angolan people. Prior to her performance, human rights groups tried to get her to cancel the show.  They felt like

Nicki’s presence in Angola could be seen as ‘an endorsement’ of the president’s authoritarian rule and they’ve accused of ‘callously taking money from a dictator.’

Clearly, she’s all about her stacks.  Nicki could care less about a stupid think like oppression, human rights and crippling poverty.
