Music Review: Krayzie Bone-Chasing the Devil

Krayzie Bone has released a lot of solo music since his Bone Thugs days, not that I’ve listened to any of it.  But I must say that I liked this album.  And I was expecting to hate it.

The sound he’s going for, or rather the sound he achieved is like a cross between Bone Thugs and scream rock of the early 00s.  Think singsongy Bone Thugs over a Linkin Park melody.  It was great for the first maybe 4 songs.  Then I got a little sick of it.  One note? Maybe.  But good overall.  I’ll give it a solid four.  I may not listen to Chasing the Devil again.  But if one of these tracks came on, I wouldn’t turn it off.
