Lil Wayne Sued by Model

A model named Shanise Taylor, has filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne’s Trukfit line, claiming they illegally used her image from a 2011 photoshoot.

Shanise launched the suit after she was featured as an image on one of Trukfit’s t-shirts appearing not to be wearing underwear. She acknowledges she did agree to the shoot, but she does not want to be associated with Lil Wayne’s clothing line or image.

She claims that the pics were photoshopped to make it look like she didn’t have on underwear, she never signed off on the use of them and she would never want her image “on apparel associated with misogyny and violence.

She may have a case.  Hopefully they can’t dredge up a contract she signed saying that the images can be used.  I believe that’s pretty standard procedure for most all photoshoots.
