Wiz Sued Over ‘Black & Yellow’

Wiz Khalifa is being sued by songwriter, Max Gregory over his song ‘Black and Yellow.’  Max is suing Wiz, Stargate, EMI Music and Rostrum Records claiming he copyrighted his song ‘Pink & Yello’ in 2008.  He says Wiz heard it and stole the concept for his song ‘Black & Yello’ and the remix ‘Black and Purple.’

Max wants $2,375,000 in damages.

Meh, I don’t really think he has a case.  The songs aren’t similar enough to say Wiz is swipin’.  That would be like me saying that I wrote a love song and then someone else wrote a love song and now they need to come up off those racks because they’re a thief.
