I just got my hands on a new single from Jazmine Sullivan ft Gist, “Holding You Down (Going In Circles).”
The song talks about how us silly women often go for the bad boy, the one who treats us wrong and puts us through all TYPES of changes. Yet we can’t seem to get enough of him. Jazzy’s raspy pained delivery that accepts the blame for allowing the situation, coupled with Gist’s smooth and simple flow that questions what a nice guy has to do to get some recognition, is genius.
