Confucius say: Make that money girl. Don’t let the money make you.
Kim did an interview with V Magazine Peep the highlights below:
Kim on her new look: “It came from me taking time away at the end of last year and the beginning of this year and really simplifying my life,” she says. “I went and stayed at my mom’s house for like four months, and I didn’t bring any makeup, high heels, or anything. I just brought sweats, workout clothes, and pajamas. It was so refreshing to me! Spending more time in Paris and traveling has broadened my fashion horizon and my palette of what I want to wear. I love makeup. I love the glitz and the glam, but I think there are just different ways to go about it now.” Still, she admits, there is a ’Ye factor. “Obviously having a stylish boyfriend who has helped introduce me to things and opened up my vision has been an inspiration and has helped me change it up a little bit and become more sophisticated. Being with him, designing and doing things, that’s been motivating to me and has taught me a lot. I’m just thankful.”
Kim on privacy: “Before, I wouldn’t have valued privacy as much as I do now,” she says, alluding to her turbulent year. “I think anyone I’m in a relationship with can really appreciate the things I’ve gone through to bring me here, because I probably wouldn’t have fought for that privacy before. Being with someone who’s more private but who understands public life, we have an understanding. It’s a good balance.”
She only did the show to promote her store: “I think that some people think we opened our store, D-A-S-H, on the show, but when we got the show offer we were thinking of it as a way to promote our store. Styling and fashion have always been my number one job, or obviously my first passion. Our goal had always been to promote the store by doing the show, and then we realized our dream life would be to have our own clothing line. Never in a million years did we think that we could go way more mass with it and have a Kardashian collection at Sears and a QVC clothing line. We weren’t even thinking that big.”
Famous for being famous: “It’s always funny to me when people say that I’m famous for being famous,” Kim says, frankly. “I think it’s fascinating, because it’s still entertainment, you know? It’s fun to see the progression of that idea. I don’t take offense to it at all. I’m not naïve to the fact that I’m not a singer or an actress or anything like that. I’ve never claimed to be anything that I’m not. I think [reality] is still a new form of entertainment that was kind of an unexpected thing… It reminds me of rap music. When rap music first came out, people were like, We don’t understand this, what is this, it’s just a fad. But rap music is definitely here to stay, and I think reality shows have proven they are as well. But when something is newer, people don’t really understand it.”
She wants a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: “I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So, of course I’m so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold.” Source
She works hard at whatever it is that she does and I’m not gonna knock her hustle. I would say she doesn’t deserve a star on the walk of fame. But she is famous for her TV and film (albeit of the adult persuasion) work. Plus, famous folks can buy a star so what’s to stop her from getting one?

“Jermaine’s kids Jaafar and Jermajesty and Randy’s sons Donte and Randy Jr. were moved into a condo in San Fernando Valley owned by the estate to help with the legal fees a few years back.
“But, despite that, Randy and Jermaine felt they needed extra help and they pleaded with the estate’s lawyer for help.

Two black men are suing ABC for discrimination. Christopher Johnson and Nathaniel Claybrooks say that they went to an audition for “The Bachelor” and were asked by a producer what they were doing there. They’re filing a class action lawsuit against ABC, Warner Horizon Television, Next Entertainment, NZK Productions and creator Mike Fleiss. Source
Aww sookie, sookie now. I’ve always thought that it was strange that there was never a black bachelor…or any other type of bachelor except for a white one. Although seeing how the black female contestants are axed off on that show within the first few episodes, maybe the producers thought having a black bachelor would affect the ratings. What do you think? Is it racist or is it ratings?

Meh, I don’t really think he has a case. The songs aren’t similar enough to say Wiz is swipin’. That would be like me saying that I wrote a love song and then someone else wrote a love song and now they need to come up off those racks because they’re a thief.
Former Bad Boy rapper turned reverend, Ma$e owes big on some jewelry. According to TMZ he owes $35K to Aydin and Company, an Atlanta jeweler, on a bill dating back to 2005.

There were some very surprising high profile rulings in the court this year.
Here’s my top three:
3. Amanda Knox
Amanda was convicted of murdering her roommate and sentenced to life in jail. However, there was a lot of circumstantial evidence and a confession garnered under duress. After 4 years in jail, Amanda was released to the loving arms of her family who never gave up hope that she would be vindicated.
2. Casey Anthony
Casey Anthony’s daughter went missing and she waited a month to report the disappearance…in the meantime partying like a rock star. She then mislead police to think that the make believe baby sitter took her daughter. In fact she did a lot of lying to police. Little Caylee’s body was found near the family’s home months later and Casey was arrested.
Not even her parents believed that she was innocent. With those odds stacked against her we thought for sure she’d be convicted. However, a lot of the evidence was circumstantial and the jury was forced to come back with a not guilty verdict. America was enraged. But at the end of the day, these people had a job to do. The prosecuter sould have done a better job to have an iron clad case. With that said, I’m sure she’ll burn in hell anyway so no worries.
1. Troy Davis
Troy Davis was convincted of killing a police officer in a case that was riddled with inconsistancies. He’s always maintained his innocence and made several appeals to have the conviction over turned, a conviction that came with the death penalty.
After four execution dates over the course of four years, Troy Davis was put to death by lethal injection on September 21, 2011. At the end he had made peace and left us with these final words:
Well, first of all I’d like to address the MacPhail family. I’d like to let you all know, despite the situation — I know all of you are still convinced that I’m the person that killed your father, your son and your brother, but I am innocent. The incident that happened that night was not my fault. I did not have a gun that night. I did not shoot your family member. But I am so sorry for your loss. I really am — sincerely. All I can ask is that each of you look deeper into this case, so that you really will finally see the truth. I ask my family and friends that you all continue to pray, that you all continue to forgive. Continue to fight this fight. For those about to take my life, may God have mercy on all of your souls. God bless you all.

Both Ev and Antoine contend the transfer was legit and that he was just giving her money to pay her bills.
In any event the trusty wants the $560 back from Ev and they want it now, so they’re suing her. Source
I’m sure with the money she’s gotten from BBW and the money she’ll be getting from her new show, she shouldn’t have any trouble coming up off those stacks.

The legal papers state, “Defendants have used the name and mark Blackstreet (sic) in such a manner as to create actual confusion and likelihood of confusion among prospective customers and/or purchasers of the services provided by plaintiffs. Defendants have harmed the goodwill of plaintiffs in the name and mark Blackstreet (sic), causing immediate and irreparable harm to plaintiffs.” Source

I’m pretty sure they made nasty and I’m pretty sure he paid her, which he was convicted of. Instead of seeking money, she should probably seek some help to find out exactly how she ended up selling herself while still in her teens.
Manreka is rearing its ugly head again. Tameka Raymond filed papers asking a judge to give her sole physical custody of her two children with Usher.
She claims Usher is required and has failed to:
– get her approval before hiring nannies
– give her first shot to watch the kids when he’s away for more than 8 hours
– allow her to take the kids for 2-weeks in the summer of 2011
– let her have custody of the kids during Christmas break 2010
-close her Saks 5th Avenue credit card — which he specifically said he wouldn’t do — and now she can no longer take advantage of the “special benefits” the card offers
-promised to pay $5k per month so Tameka could hire her own nanny for the kids — but he hasn’t paid in months, and now owes $34,000 worth of payments.

Singer Trey Songz is suing Dave “The Mogul” Hester, of ‘Storage Wars’ demanding that he stop using his signature ‘YUUUP!’ He wants him to stop saying it during auctions as well as using it on merchandise.
Trey claims to have used “YUUUP! as his “signature sound” since at least 2009.
But Dave says that Trey’s version “resembles an animal-like or non-human squeal which begins with a distinct ‘yeeee’ sound before finishing with a squeal-like ‘uuuup’ sound.” That’s “distinct and different from Hester’s more monosyllabic sounding guttural auction bidding phrase…which is meant to convey the meaning of ‘yes,’ ” court papers say.
Dave’s counter suit seeks unspecified damages and a court order barring Songz from “interfering” with his use of “YUUUP!” which Hester trademarked in September. Source
