Few hours to the Chris Brown concert, he showed up in Ghana with a frown face. The organizers were supposed to be the ones carrying the frown face since he failed to show up for the all important unveiling and sod cutting ceremony which the President of Ghana (John Mahama) even attended.

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Lance Armstrong is all people have been talking about today. Lance finally admitted to using performance enhancing drugs while competing in the Tour Du France. He said that he used EPO, testosterone, human growth hormone and other banned substances during his career.
He pretty much said it wasn’t his fault. “I didn’t invent the culture, but I didn’t try to stop the culture, and that’s my mistake, and that’s what I have to be sorry for, and that’s what something and the sport is now paying the price because of that,” he added. “So I am sorry for that. I don’t think — I didn’t have access to anything else that nobody else did.
He said, “I had this exercise because I kept hearing I’m a drug cheat. I’m a cheat. I’m a cheater. And I went in and just looked up the definition of cheat. . . . And the definition of cheat is to gain an advantage on a rival or foe that they don’t have. I didn’t view it that way. I viewed it as a level playing field.”

We reported yesterday that Leslie Carter, one of Nick and Aaron’s sisters, died at the age of 25. We don’t have any official reports from the coroner. But the police report indicates that the cause of death was most likely an overdose.
Leslie’s stepmother, Ginger, told the cops that Leslie was taking prescription meds for mental illness and had become addicted to them. The day she died she’d slipped in the shower and Ginger helped her into bed to rest. But when she went to check on her she found that she wasn’t breathing and her script bottles, Olanzapine (for bipolar disorder), Cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxer) and Xanax were laying next to her in bed.
The report also says that Ginger was pretty stoned when they spoke to her and she said that she was so upset about Lindsay’s death that she’d downed 5 or 6 Xanex. Source

Snoop was nabbed over the weekend in Texas after drug-sniffing dogs picked up the scent of weed on his tour bus.
Border agents stopped him and found a red prescription bottle on the bus with several joints and a half-ounce of weed. Snoop said that he had a scrip for the drug from Cali but since Texas hasn’t legalized marijuana they took him in.
He was issued a citation and released. He can challenge the citation or pay a $537 fine to make it all go away.

Sam Hurd of the Chicago Bears was arrested for possession and intent to distribute. He took a kilo of cocane from an undercover federal agent out side of a restaurant and was arrested and charged immediately.
“…Hurd negotiated to buy five to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana a week for distribution in the Chicago area, authorities alleged. He agreed to pay $25,000 for each kilogram of cocaine and $450 a pound for the marijuana, according to the charges. Hurd said at the meeting that he plays for the Bears, gets out of practice at about 5:30 p.m., and would pay them on the next day, authorities said. Bears players are paid on Thursdays. Hurd told the undercover agent and informant that he and someone else distributed about four kilograms of cocaine each week in the Chicago area but that their supplier wasn’t able to meet their needs….”
The Chicago Bears rep released this statement:
“We are aware of Sam’s arrest and are continuing to gather details surrounding it. We are disappointed whenever these circumstances arise. We will deal with them appropriately once we have all the information.”

Actor Jermaine “Huggy” Hopkins has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of possessing, transporting and trying to sell marijuana.
Police set up a sting operation and when Huggy took possession of the drugs they pulled him over and arrested him. They found $100K in cash in the car as well as 100 pounds of weed.

We just told you about Tamkea Raymond suing her ex husband, Usher for custody of their children, and this battle has recently taken an even uglier turn.
Tameka says that she found mysterious pills in his jeans pockets in September 2008, and that she believed he was wasted during the Germany concert. So she demanded that he submit to a drug test after he was allegedly ‘in delirium’ during a concert in Germany this year.
Usher has refused to take the test.
During the performance in question, Usher was unable to sing and after apologizing to fans, his reps blamed a respiratory infection.
But Tameka said, “I dated him . . . when he’s had a very serious throat condition and he still performs like a champ. “I really feel strongly that something was going on there, and it wasn’t, ‘Oh I have laryngitis.’
“I believe he gets high. And if he doesn’t then he’d take the drug test, correct?”
Usher called Tameka’s drug test request “frivolous and unfounded,” and intended to “harass and embarrass” the him. Source

About a month or so ago, Brew and I were hangin out at Parlour cus his cousins were in the city lookin for some place to chill and my girl Melly Mel was working the door. CBS has finally thrown in the towel with Charlie sheen and is shutting down productin for ‘Two and a Half Men.’
Charlie is calling the network crazy and said that he plans to make a move to HBO for a show called Sheen’s Corner where he could earn up to $5 million an episode.
He said, “I’m close to securing a deal with HBO for a 10 show guarantee.
“It will be epic, all types of guests and we will focus on the truth and the absurd!”

Rapper Juelz Santana’s studio was raided by police last week resulting in Hynief, a member of Juelz’ Skull Gang Group, getting arrested.
He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
“Two fully loaded 9mm caliber handguns were found in the recording studio along with several boxes of ammunition,” Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Maureen Parenta said in a statement.
“Additionally, seventeen (17) small clear zip-lock bags each containing a greenish brown vegetation, consistent with the appearance of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized.”
The raid comes aftger a ten month investigation that started with Hynief allegedly selling weed to an undercover cop on two occasions.
Hynief was held on $50,000 bail and according to Juelz, released on Saturday. Source

He says that his addiction to prescription drugs began when he got pain medicine for oral surgery back in January.
He said, “I had a lot of work done to my teeth. Oral surgery, extractions, six, seven, eight root canals. Between January to February. As soon as I got out, I had a lot of stuff done. In the joint, you eat shit that is unhealthy for you. I had fillings that fell out and stuff that had to get dealt with. Of course for the pain they gave me oxycontin and hydrocodone. And, mind you, on October 13, 2007, I had cut off everything―weed, alcohol. Then I get these pills and I start taking them for the pain at first. And then I’m like, Wait―this shit makes me feel good. And it’s legal. After the pain went away, I kept taking it. I had like five, six prescriptions. So I had, like 80 pills. Everybody else might have a drink or smoke a blunt, I took a pain pill. Times when I had 18-, 20-hour days, I’d take a pain pill. And eventually I developed―I guess―the beginning stages of dependence.
On why he’s still a role model for the hood:
Let me just say this: [he sits up on the couch] If you look at a guy who came up, no pops in the house, moms on welfare, food stamps; started selling dope when he was 12, 13 years old, came up handling guns, being in shoot-outs; started going to jail when he was 15. In all of this chaos and this mischief and lawlessness, the person who was just in jail for machine guns and silencers turns his life around. And now you want to crucify him ―for what? Three pills. I mean, of course it’s wrong and unacceptable and inexcusable. No problem. But in the grand scheme of things, it’s rather petty. It’s rather petty to hold someone’s feet to the fire for something so small when they have overcame things that were so big. All that could have been going wrong―if I was riding with more guns, or if I had gotten into a shoot-out and killed somebody, then I could see that. But just think about it. I’ve gotten it down to this much.
Even though Demi is reportedly in rehab for her emotional issues, a stay that was prompted by her assault on a dancer on tour with her, she may be in there for a lot of other stuff as many have assumed.
According to a Texas college student named Brian Payne, Demi loves the yayo.
Brian, who allegedly saw Demi doing drugs at a wild party back in December, said, “She was doing line after line like a pro – and she was 17 at the time.
“I just remember her doing it [cocaine] as if she had been doing it for a long time. It didn’t seem like something new to her.”
An unnamed source said, “Demi’s been on a tear lately. She’ll chug booze straight from the bottle.”
“Since Joe (Jonas) dumped her, Demi’s been depressed and drinking a lot. It’s been hard for her to keep working so closely with Joe,” another source said.

T.I. escaped drug charges for his arrest in L.A. in September. But his wife Tiny has been charged on Friday for possession of ecstasy and has to show up in court today in Beverly Hills.

We just reported that Mario was arrested for assaulting his mother and now his camp is saying that this whole situation has to do with his mother’s drug habit. Mario’s lawyer William Murphy III says, “This is an unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother who continues to struggle with a devastating addiction. Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions. Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother.” Source
I know his mom has struggled with drugs for years now. So this my very well be true. And if that’s the case then this is truly sad. But I still contend that there’s something fishy about Mario. I’m probably just saying that because I can’t stand him…or his nostrils.
TMZ reported that Lindsay Lohan failed at least one of her drug tests, when she tested positive for cocaine. She initially told UsWeekly, “I’m fine. They’re all nuts.” But laer took to Twitter to fess up.
She wrote, “Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences. T.I. may be heading back to jail yall. He had to undergo a drug test after being arrested during a traffic stop where drugs were found in his vehicle. Well the tests are back…and they’re positive. In addition one of the passengers in the car is a convinced felon and as part of T.I.’s probation he’s not supposed to be in the company of felons.
So he’s been ordered to appear before a judge for a bond hearing to determine whether or not his bail will be revoked and if he’ll have to complete the rest of his sentence. He served 7 months of a 1 year and 1 day sentence for weapons charges. Source

I started doing cocaine to get through interviews, ’cause people wanted to know a lot about my personal life and I wasn’t prepared for a 60 Minutes interview every time. Doing bumps I was able to get through the day, but then I would smoke weed to calm me down—it was the only way I could get through the day without people noticing I was doing it.
I never thought it was a problem, but I was definitely high-fiving death a couple of times. It took a lot for me to talk about sh*t like this on the album. I don’t feel like I need to explain myself to anyone besides the fans. My fans don’t believe sh*t until they hear me say it. And those are true Kid Cudi fans. I want them to know the story.

There’s another thing people don’t know. I have a daughter, born March 26th of this year. Her name is Vada, and she’s f*cking awesome. That was eating me up, and it was stressing me out that nobody knew about her. I was trying to escape from that, too. Just trying to figure it out and make everyone happy, it’s a lot for somebody my age to handle. I was manning up and dealing with it in what I thought was the right way, but it was the wrong way. I want to be around for her. I can honestly say she was the wake-up call. The reality that it’s bigger than just you now—you have a responsibility and there’s no more time for mistakes. T.I. and Tiny were arrested the other day and we now learn that it wasn’t just weed that got them locked up. Ecstasy was found on both of them. If T.I.’s drug test comes up negative then it may be Tiny taking the fall for her man. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Source

Kid Cudi is finally talking about his arrest in June where he took a woman’s apartment door off the hinges and was found in possession of liquid cocaine.

According to The National Enquirer, Whitney Houston is spending upwards of $300K a year on drugs. Her entourage was able to get a drug dealer to sell her $6K worth of cocaine during a European tour stop. Sources also say that during her interview with Oprah, where she claimed to be drug free, she was actually high.
Her friend Marlon David, a party promoter said, “Whitney is a dead woman walking! With the amount of drugs she’s buying, she won’t be able to live long. She’ll be dead in months.”

Lil’ Wayne has plead not guilty to drug charges in Arizona stemming from a 2008 arrest in Yuma when his tour bus was searched and police found drugs and a loaded gun.
He’s currently in Rikers for a felony gun charge but still had to answer for these other charges in Arizona. Source

We reported Andrew Koppel’s (Ted Koppel’s son) death a little while ago and the medical examiner’s report has been revealed. Andrew died of a lethal combination of drugs and alcohol which included heroin, diazepam, cocaine, valium, Levamisole, and booze. Source

Brandon Ray Adams was locked up for allegedly kidnapping actor Jeremy London and forcing him to smoke crack. Well no one who knows Brandon seems to believe Jeremy’s story.
Brandon’s friends and neighbors say that although they believe that Brandon and Jeremy smoked up together, they don’t think Brandon would force the crank on him.
One of Brandon’s friends said, “The guy (Jeremy) just said he was forced to smoke because he knew drugs were in his system.” Source
Actor Jeremy London have been kidnapped by a man named Brandon Adams. He says he was held for five hours, robbed and forced to smoke crack.
Jeremy had a flat tire and Brandon stopped to ‘help’ him. He says that he was driven around for hours before escaping at 3am in the morning.
Sergeant Douglass said, “He [Jeremy] told officers (during the kidnapping) that he was forced to smoke dope and then purchase booze and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs.”
A source added, “Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience. He spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up shot or dead.”
Brandon was charged with kidnaping, robber, carjacking, etc. and is being held on $500K bail.

Eminem admits that he almost died because of his drug use.
He said in an interview that he wasn’t willing to admit he had a problem until he lost close friend , D12′s Proof. Proof’s death lead him to drugs, which lead him to an overdose, which lead him to get help. Source
