It’s official, Daneille Staub will not be returning to the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ next season.
Andy Cohen, who hosted the reunion show posted a blog that read, “The reunion was Danielle’s last appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. We thought the hugs were a great way to end two seasons of bitterness between the women.”
Danielle commented saying, “I’m way too good for this. They have used me about as much as I can be used.
“I think it’s time for me to move on and upward,” she told Us Magazine. “I don’t see any interest for me to be attacked like that.”
Danielle’s not skipping a beat though she said that she wants to branch off. “I want my own show,” she said.
“I want to be me now. Not me according to other people. Me…a spin-off is absolutely, positively where I’m going.”
She feels that a spin-off would allow “my kids to be seen for the wonderful children that they are. I want to be shown as a mother, an artist, a supporter of my charities and the foundations that I’m passionate about. I want to use my platform to speak about the things that I love in my life.” Source
This show is nothing without Danielle. Bringing Kim G and Kim D into the mix might keep it afloat for a few episodes but I can’t deal with their brand of crazy. They’re annoying-crazy. Danielle is pathological-psychopathic-prostitution whore-engaged 19 fucking times-bat shit-crazy…that’s my kinda crazy and she will be missed.
Bethanny Frankel of ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ has decided to not return to the show for its next season.
She said, “Last season was scary and painful. It took all of the joy out of it.”
Bethanny had fights with most of the castmates last season and said that she has no reason to return. She said, “My gut’s saying not to be part of this cast.” Source
Good for her! I mean, Bethanny is one of my faves but I’m happy to see her moving past the foolishness and on to more important things like her family and business.

She has released a press statement saying:

Dr. Laura Schlessinger has stepped down from her radio show after her n****r filled rant.
She told Larry King, “My contract is up for my radio show at the end of the year and I’ve made the decision not to do radio anymore. The reason is I want to regain my First Amendment rights.I want to be able to say what’s on my mind and in my heart and what I think is helpful and useful without somebody getting angry, some special interest group deciding this is the time to silence a voice of dissent and attack affiliates, attack sponsors. I’m sort of done with that.
“I’m not retiring, I’m not quitting, I feel energized actually. Stronger and freer to say the things that I believe need to be said for people in this country.”
That’s right Laura, you should be free to be as racist as you want! Actually, I wouldn’t even classify what she did as particularly racist (maybe only a little). But it was wildly inappropriate and she should at least understand the backlash. I mean c’mon son!
So we’ve just learned that after one season as a judge, Ellen DeGeneres has quit and Kara Dioguardi was fired. We’re not sure if Ellen will be replaced but Kara’s replacement will be Jennifer Lopez.
We’ve known for a while that Simon Cowell is dunzo and ready to move on and word is that Aerosmith front man, Steven Tyler, will replace him. Randy Jackson is the only original surviving judge. Source

Lisa Wu Hartwell and hubby Ed will be on next season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But not for long. The couple will only appear in three episodes. Why? Well rumor has it that their storyline was boring. So Bravo wanted to throw in a little scripted drama but Lisa said no. So they said bye.

O.J.’s lawyer, Robert Shapiro, just announced a few days ago that he would be representing Lindsay Lohan on the condition that she comply “with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time.”
But he shockingly stepped down. Lindsay checked into a sober-living house Robert started after he lost his son Brent to a drug overdose in 2005.
A source says that her behavior at the house may have caused him to step down. They say, “She was unruly. She was having people over at all hours of the night. She acted like she ran the place.” Source

WME’s partner, Ari Emanuel, publicly shunned Mel back in ’06 for his anti-Semitic remarks and apparently hasn’t changed his mind about him. Source

Singer Maxwell has pulled out of his remaining tour dates. He’s reportedly not feeling his tour mates Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. He hates that they go over on their time each show. This makes him in turn limit his show.
All of his concerts after the NYC show on June 26th have been postponed or cancelled.
Donnie, the singer who was on Making the Band 4 and who signed a solo deal with Bad Boy, is calling it quits. He told Billboard that he quit that bitch and is moving on with Eight72 Entertainment.
Donnie said he learned a lot about “the business side of things, not just music,” from “Diddy”, but added that, “it’s tough being on a label where the president of the label is also an artist. Source

You all know I have done all of these performances on tour – 125 shows in 126 days, so I couldn’t wait to chill and get some rest. I even sent you a picture from my little bit of paradise. I’m there chillin’…me and a very special friend. We’re sunbathing and swimming, I’m flying my RC planes. We even decided to go to this place where you can swim with the sharks. She decided to swim. Me, well, let’s just say I figured that someone would have had to tell the story if it went badly, so I stayed on the dock…LOL.
Anyway, I’m there on vacation, celebrating life, thanking God and just relaxing when I get a message that I have to come home, that Mariah has dropped out of the film! I said “What? You’re kidding? It’s five days before she has to go to work, nobody does that. We have a deal. IT’S FIVE DAYS BEFORE SHE IS SUPPOSED TO GO TO WORK! So, I got on the plane and came home and started trying to re-cast this major role in the film.
I land and get to the studio, and I’m like, what happened? I was told that we got a call, saying that even though our deal was done, she had been advised by her doctor not to do the film. I said “What? You know I want a doctor’s note, don’t you?!”…LOL
But to tell you the truth, I don’t know what that means and, unlike the tabloids, I won’t speculate. All I know is that I’m waiting just like the rest of the world to find out what happened. Source
Mariah is fueling rumors that she’s pregnant. Not only have she and Nick been seen leaving fertility clinics every other day. But she also suddenly pulled out of Tyler Perry’s film, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf.”
Production was set to begin next month and she reportedly pulled out for ‘medical reasons.’
When she withdrew her spokesperson said, “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time.” Source
I think the film would be an amazing opportunity for her. But if she’s pulling out to focus on a family I’m more than happy for her.
We hear that Lisa Wu Hartwell and her husband Ed won’t be on the next season of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
They may have gotten the boot because of their home foreclosure and Ed’s lack of a job. Lisa says they left to “pursue other opportunities”. Source
I like them as a couple. Butin the Real Housewives world, Lisa would need to serve more drama to keep the ratings going. If she’s not statchin’ wigs or belting out an autotuned single, then no one is checking for her. I’m just sayin..
After starring in two installments of Transformers, Megan Fox is a no go for the third movie.
She and director Michael Bay clearly don’t care for each other and even though they’ve gone back in forth in the press he said he was excited to work with heron Transformers 3. He made the following announcement on his blog (MichaelBay.com): “P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep.”
But she’s not coming back. Her rep said, “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.
She’s not hurting for work though. She has three films set to come out this year. Source
Whether Megan’s in the movie or not I probably won’t be seeing it. The first one was good. The second one was racist. No need to waste my time on a third.
Janet Jackson ex Jermaine Dupri, is saying that she’s done recording albums and wants to focus on acting.
He said: “I can tell you that she’s not working on an album. We just did the one song ‘Nothing’ for the ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’ soundtrack.
“Last time I heard she really didn’t want to do an album. She wanted to just do singles every once in a while. She’s looked at the marketplace -albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is just trying to figure out her landscape.”
He added, “Janet’s cool. She has a lot of work going on that’s keeping her in the right direction. The movie came out, which is the biggest Tyler Perry movie he has had thus far. It looks like her star power as an actress is still there. And she’s about to do the other movie, ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’ with Mariah Carey, Kerry Washington and Whoopi Goldberg.” Source
Well I hope she focuses on some acting classes. Janet’s acting doesn’t exactly make me want to upchuck…but I’m not going to rave about it either. With that said, I guess she can’t dance and pretend to sing for the rest of her life either.
Nicole Scherzinger is speaking out on the future of the Pussycat Dolls. I recently reported that one of the the last members, Ashley Roberts, was gone. And now Nicole says she’s excited about welcoming in new members.
She says. “We’re going to have a new cast of Dolls. And I’m excited.
“Right now I’ve been in the studio working on music non-stop. We’re going to have another Pussycat Dolls album for all of our fans out there but that’s going to be late this year.
“I’m still Nicky Doll. And I’m just plowing away in the studio making music that I love.” Source
The Pussycat Dolls have been dropping like flies these days. The latest to leave th group is Ashley Roberts. She said on her website that she’s in good spirits and is leaving to pursue acting projects and a possible MTV show. The only members left are Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton. And last I heard she was working on a solo project. Source
This group, and concept had a shelf life. I know Robin Antin nees to fill her appetite for tanning and collogen injections. But lets let it go, shall we?
Alicia Keys is refuting rumors that she plans to retire at 30. She says, “I was just saying that I would like the option to be able to retire by 30. I feel very blessed… but I definitely have so much more to do. I have so many things that I want to do, so many more things I want to get involved in, important things I want to do… I have to perform, I love it so much.” Source
She added, “I have so many more men to steal.” OK, that was a fabrication. At some point I’ll lay off of her. I just can’t respect women who ride bikes that don’t belong to them.
Model Tyson Beckford wants to act. In fact he’s so done with modeling he said the following to the NY Post:
“I’m done with fashion. No one is getting those $1 million contracts right now. I want to concentrate on movies and other projects.” Source
I can see him wanting to try something new, especially in light of the recent economy. But not everyone can be an actor. Plus, you should never bite the hand that feeds you. Modeling may not be paying as much as it used to. But damnit, it’s what he knows how to do.
Conan O’Brien’s exit interview with NBC has been conducted and he made out like a fat rat. Awesome!
According to the New York Times, Conan will be paid $45 million and he’s givng $13 million of that to his staff. As part of the agreement Conan can move on to a new network in 8 months. His manager issued a statement saying:
“Conan was appreciative of the steps NBC made to take care of his staff and crew, and decided to supplement the severance they were getting out of his own pocket. Now he just wants to get back on the air as quickly as possible.”

In the last few days, I’ve been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I’ve been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I’ve been absurdly lucky. That said, I’ve been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.
Six years ago, I signed a contract with NBC to take over The Tonight Show in June of 2009. Like a lot of us, I grew up watching Johnny Carson every night and the chance to one day sit in that chair has meant everything to me. I worked long and hard to get that opportunity, passed up far more lucrative offers, and since 2004 I have spent literally hundreds of hours thinking of ways to extend the franchise long into the future. It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule. Building a lasting audience at 11:30 is impossible without both.
But sadly, we were never given that chance. After only seven months, with my Tonight Show in its infancy, NBC has decided to react to their terrible difficulties in prime-time by making a change in their long-established late night schedule.
Last Thursday, NBC executives told me they intended to move the Tonight Show to 12:05 to accommodate the Jay Leno Show at 11:35. For 60 years the Tonight Show has aired immediately following the late local news. I sincerely believe that delaying the Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting. The Tonight Show at 12:05 simply isn’t the Tonight Show. Also, if I accept this move I will be knocking the Late Night show, which I inherited from David Letterman and passed on to Jimmy Fallon, out of its long-held time slot. That would hurt the other NBC franchise that I love, and it would be unfair to Jimmy.
So it has come to this: I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it. My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction. Some people will make the argument that with DVRs and the Internet a time slot doesn’t matter. But with the Tonight Show, I believe nothing could matter more.
There has been speculation about my going to another network but, to set the record straight, I currently have no other offer and honestly have no idea what happens next. My hope is that NBC and I can resolve this quickly so that my staff, crew, and I can do a show we can be proud of, for a company that values our work.

Timbaland says that he’s done with hip-hop because he feels it’s “just not the same” as when he started out.
He told MTV.com, “I was done with hip-hop a long time ago. Once my generation left, I left. I do it, but there’s nobody from my generation besides Jay-Z who’s doing it. I look at Lil Wayne as being from my generation. Some people are still acceptable. Kanye (West) is acceptable from my generation. It’s just not the same. By it not being the same, I kind of fade to black. I did music that fits where I was going to in my age bracket.
“I figured it out a couple of years ago with Nelly (Furtado) and Justin (Timberlake) and myself. We had a tremendous run. I think it was good for me to do that. But I got this run, I’m not gonna stop until I wanna stop.” Source

Day 26 has decided to move on from Bad Boy. The group got their ‘fame’ from being contestants, and later winners on Diddy’s ‘Making the Band’ series.
“Bad Boy is always our family, but we’re with Atlantic right now,” member Willie Taylor said.
“We really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music,” he explained. “I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we’re all about, that we do our thing whether its on stage, in the studio, writing and producing — we do it all.” Source
I’m sure Diddy will be fine without them…he always is. One of my Haitian brothers pointed out that it’s odd how Diddy’s always losing artists, his albums don’t do so hot, and no one is wearing Sean Jean, yet he seems to prosper. I wonder what kind of deals he’s made with the Devil to make that happen.
